219. WILLIAM TELL7 SEYMOUR (Joel6, William5, John4, John3, John2, Richard1), born at Stillwater, N.Y., 19 Sept. 1811, died at Waterford, N.Y., 1888; married at Waterford, N.Y., 29 Mar. 1841, ANN (SCOTT) HOUSE, born at Waterford, N.Y., 7 Apr. 1814, died at Brooklyn, N.Y., 28 Mar. 1895, daughter of Thomas and Grace (Smith). She married first, 7 Apr. 1836, Elijah House, who was born at Andover 27 Feb. 1797, died at Waterford, 24 Sept. 1836, son of Simon and Lucy (Huntington).

He was a graduate of Union College, 1836; settled in Waterford, but went to New York in 1839 and studied law two years. He practiced law in Waterford until 1853, and after that was cashier of Manufacturers Bank, Cohoes, N.Y. Republican; Presbyterian.
