18. Daniel Seymour
18. Daniel Seymour (Matthew3, Thomas2, Richard1), of Norwalk, Conn., born at Norwalk, died about 1759. He married ANN4 BETTS, born at Norwalk 29 Mar. 1729, living a widow in 1789, daughter of Matthew3 (Thomas2, Thomas1) and Abigail.
Daniel Seymour was the only son of his father who remained at Norwalk. He succeeded to his father's homestead and was a comparatively young man when he died. His widow Ann was appointed 2 Oct. 1759 guardian of his children, Nanny, Daniel, Katy, and Hannah Seymour, minors and the division of his estate was made 3 Mar. 1761 between the widow, the son. the eldest daughter Nanny, the second daughter Hannah and the third daughter “Catey.”
