54. DAVID⁵ SEYMOUR (John⁴, John³, Thomas², Richard¹), born at Norwalk, Conn., 24 Dec. 1744, died probably at Lisle, N.Y., in 1808; married at Richmond, Mass., 10 Sept. 1773 [sic], Lucy⁵ ALVORD, born at Middletown, Conn., 27 May 1750, d. 16 June 1789, daughter of Thomas⁴ (Thomas³, Thomas², Alexander¹) and Submit (Bishop); married second, MARY HOYT, and was living at Norwalk in 1792.

They lived at Richmond, Mass. A David of Norwalk had in his family, 1790, 1 male over 16, 1 under, and 2 females. He resided in the State of New York (no town stated) in 1796.

ii.	DAVID, b. 7 Sept. 1774; d. at Lisle, N.Y., 6 Dec. 1856; m. (1) at Lisle, 1 Jan 1812, SALLY HUBBARD, b. at Lanesboro, 31 Jan. 1781, d. 8 Nov. 1816, dau. of Zadoc and Sally (Lobdell) (Sprague); m. (2) 23 Dec. 1818, ALMA (BELDEN) HUBBARD, b. at Lenox, Mass., 7 or 8 Jan. 1777, d. at Whitney Point, 8 Jan. 1828, dau. of Oliver and Abigail; m. (3) at Spencertown, N.Y., CYNTHIA HOLDRIDGE, b. 17 Jan. 1777, d. at Whitney Point, 15 Apr. 1838. He volunteered at Lisle, N.Y., Sept. 1812, and served as Captain in the 17th Regt., N.Y. Detached Militia, to Oct. 1812. Five children.

IRA, b. 18 Mar. 1776; d. at Whitney Point, N.Y., 29 Sept. 1866; m. at Lisle, N.Y., 14 Nov. 1797, RUTH PATTERSON, b. at Lenox, Mass., 6 Aug. 1774, d. at Whitney Point, 10 Feb. 1842, dau. of Maj.-Gen. John and Elizabeth (Lee); m. (2) at Binghamton, N.Y., 26 Dec. 1842, LORETTA (SCOFIELD) PROVOST, b. at Norwalk, Conn., 30 Jan. 1795, d. at Binghamton, N.Y., 22 Feb. 1867, widow of Thomas Provost, dau. of Sylvanus and Sarah (Thomson). Nine children.
