78. MICHAEL5 SEYMOUR (Richard4, John3, John2, Richard1), born at Hartford, Conn., 23 July 1749, died there 25 June 1811 aged 62; married MERCY6 SEDGWICK, baptized at West Hartford, 10 June 1753, died 2 Oct. 1834, daughter of William5 (Jonathan4, Samuel3, William2, Robert1) and Elizabeth (Brace).
Will of Michael Seymour of Hartford, dated 14 Dec. 1810, proved 30 July 1811. “Whereas I have been entirely disabled from personal Labour for a number of Years and have been dependent on my Son Michael Seymour jun'r for the Management of my little Estate; and having given my Son William a Trade, and my Daughter Elizabeth Nevins a Setting out in Household Furniture,” I hereby bequeath my estate to my son Michael, he to provide for me and my wife Martha during our lives.
