100. STEPHEN5 SEYMOUR (Stephen4, Ebenezer3, Richard2, Richard1), born at Watertown, Conn., 21 July 1759, died at Binghamton, N.Y., about 1839; married first, SALL y5 BLAKESLEE, born at Waterbury, Conn., 20 Aug. 1768, died 4 Apr. 1822, daughter of John4 (Moses3, John2, Samuel1) and Olive (Curtiss) of Plymouth, Conn.; married second, –, who died in Corning, N.Y., having married second, a Mr. Preston.

Before 1806, he removed from Connecticut to Exeter, N.Y. He was pensioned in 1818, giving his age as 58 and residence as Otsego, N.Y. He enlisted at Watertown, Conn., Jan. 1777, for three years under Capt. Joseph Mansfield, Col. Douglass, and was afterwards in Col. Meigs' Regt., Conn. Line; served out his time, and was discharged at Morristown, N.J., Jan. 1780. He enlisted again, at Kensington, Conn., Mar. 1782, in Capt. John Webb's Co., Col. Sheldon's Light Dragoons, Conn. Line, for three years; served until June 1783, when he was furloughed home and not recalled. He was living in Chenango, N.Y., in 1832. His family stated that he served in both the Revolution and the War of 1812.
