HENRY RODERICK7 SEYMOUR (Timothy6, Timothy5, Timothy4, John3, John2, Richard1), born at West Hartford, Conn., 3 Apr. 1784, died at Buffalo, N.Y., 11 Feb. 1851; married first, at West Hartford, Conn., 2 Jan. 1812, ELIZABETH SELDEN, born at West Hartford, 3 June 1785, died at Buffalo, N.Y., 6 Sept. 1817, daughter of Cephas and Martha (Brainard); married second, at Buffalo, 24 June 1822, LUCIA MARY GROSVENOR, born at Pomfret, Conn., 31 Aug. 1801, died at Buffalo, July 1882.

He was a banker, of Buffalo, N.Y.

Children by first wife, one born at West Hartford, one at Buffalo:
i. ABBY GOODMAN8, b. 19 June 1815; m. 24 July 1839, HORATIO NELSON HOLT, b. at Cherry Valley, N.Y., 8 Jan. 1811, s. of Gen. Elijah and Mary (Adams) Holt. He was a merchant, of Brooklyn, N.Y., and was Alderman of Brooklyn and Supervisor of Kings County.
