ABEL5 SEYMOUR (Stephen4, Ebenezer3, Richard2, Richard1), born at Waterbury, Conn., 2 July 1745, died there 17 Nov. 1814; married first, at Plymouth, Conn., 19 Nov. 1767, DAMARIS5 HUMISTON (John4, John3, John2, Henry1), born 10 Feb. 1746/7, died at Plymouth, 12 Jan. 1794; married second, at Plymouth, 15 Dec. 1794, EUNICE DOOLITTLE, who died 2 June 1813 aged 68.

He was a miller, and settled in what is now Plymouth, Conn.

Administration of the estate of Abel Seymour late of Waterbury dec'd granted to Titus Seymour and Abner Blakeslee 2nd, 25 Nov. 1814. Distribution of above estate made 6 Mar. 1814 (sic, should be 1815, other dates are 1815) between Ziba Seymour, heirs of Lucy Blakeslee, viz., –Manda and Norman Blakeslee, Martha Baldwin, Titus Seymour, Polly Way, Abel Seymour, Damaris Blakeslee, Merrick Seymour, Dorcas Baldwin, and Robert Seymour.

(2) THANKFUL5 BLAKESLEE, b. at Plymouth, Conn., 6 May 1775, d. at Litchfield, 21 Nov. 1806, dau. of Abner4 (Jacob3, Ebenezer2, Samuel1) and Thankful (Peck); m. (3) 18 Mar. 1807, MARY WAY, b. 27 July 1770, d. 12 Nov. 1830, dau. of Joseph. Three children.
ii. Lucy, b. 3 July 1770; d. before Mar. 1815; m. - BLAKESLEE.
iii. MARTHA, b. 11 Mar. 1772; d. at Plymouth, Ohio, 18 Sept. 1841; m. at Paris, N.Y., 8 Jan. 1794, LEVERETT5 BALDWIN, b. perhaps at Waterbury, Conn., d. at Perryville, N.Y., 10 June 1830, s. of Theophilus4 (Theophilus3, Barnabas2, Richard1) and (perhaps) Sarah (Strong). In 1816 they were living at Smithville, N.Y. No children.
iv. TITUS, b. at Litchfield, 6 July 1774; d. at Plymouth, Ohio, 22 May 1845; m. at Plymouth, Conn., 17 Mar. 1799, LEVA BLAKESLEE, b. at Plymouth, Conn., 29 Mar. 1779, d. 31 Jan. 1851, dau. of Jude and Experience (Blakeslee). Six children.
v. POLLY, b. 3 July 1776; m. THADDEUS WAY. In 1816 she was living at Windsor, N.Y.
vi. ABEL, b. 13 Aug. 1777.
vii. DAMARIS, b. 4 Sept. 1779; d. 14 Aug. 1854; m. ABNER5 BLAKESLEE, JR., b. at Plymouth, Conn., 21 May 177–, s. of Abner4 (Jacob3, Ebenezer2, Samuel1) and Thankful (Peck).
viii. MERRICK, b. 29 June 1781; d. 17 Jan. 1834; res. Paris, Perryville, and (1816) Smithville, N.Y.; m. 21 Sept. 1808, NANCY JEROME, b. 17 Sept. ·1788, d. 5 Mar. 1853. Eight children.
ix. DORCAS, b. 1 Feb. 1783; d. 1843; m. JARED5 BALDWIN, b. 1782, perhaps at Waterbury, Conn., d. 1812, s. of Theophilus4 (Theophilus3, Barnabas2, Richard1) and (perhaps) Sarah (Strong). In 1800 moved to Oneida County, N.Y. She was living at Plymouth, Conn., in 1816.
